The location is amazing, right next to the Duomo and other historic spots. We explored Florence on foot with our three kids, and it was so easy! The nearby piazza was very lively, and we loved the peaceful ambiance of the hotel after a busy day.
My kids wished for better shower facilities. They were quite cramped.

The location is perfect, the rest is pretty poor. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I'm sure you get good scores for the location.
very fair breakfast with no variety. If you arrived at 9:00 there was no longer just industrial bakery bread and same was true for the croissants. fruit was scarce (only apples and kigüis) and unpresentable not fresh and size of a golf ball. walls of the rooms (we saw two of them before we stayed in ours) were very dirty, furniture very deteriorated, cleaning of the floor of the room very deficient, during the week we were there we could check it. dirt on the floor on the first day was still there on the last day. doorway and elevator were very, "dirty". entrance and exit of the elevator even dangerous if you are not careful because there is a rare step out of the norm and you have to be careful always. to top it all off, from the doorway to the elevator there are a few stairs, that is, elevator does not go all the way down. If you are older and have big bags, you have a problem, because nobody helps you even if you ask at the hotel reception. It is true that this is a 3-star hotel, there are some minimum requirements that you DO have to meet, such as easy access to the lift, cleaning and maintenance, are essential in a hotel of this category. I would not repeat.

The room was adequately sized but lacked
Some necessary amenities like a kettle and hairdryer. Despite being in the heart of Florence with amazing access to the Duomo, the noise from outside could be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped balance the experience.

The room was nicely furnished and well-appointed with a million dollar view of the duomo, I felt comfortable there. The setting was amazing, right by Duomo, shops and restaurants and shops, restaurants, sights...

Overall, wonderful impression of the hotel. main advantage is its location directly on the Piazza del Duomo, hotel occupies the two upper floors of the building next to the Lodge del Bigallo and has an internal staircase to the top floor. Other advantages are the pleasant interior of all rooms, quality furniture, cleanliness and comfort. elevator is small, always available for use. Only parts of the rooms overlook the Giotto Bell Tower, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi Dome, rest of the courtyard. I was lucky when I received the corner large room 1401, named after the Florentine artist Bronzino, one window of the room overlooked the bell tower and cathedral, other the central Via dei Calzaiuoli. It was a pleasant bonus from the hotel, probably not so much in January, because for rooms "with a view" the hotel informs in advance about the additional payment of 30 euros per day, is paid on arrival. Breakfast: croissants, buns, bread, yogurt, eggs, butter, jams, pastry, cheese, sausage, juices, milk, muesli, coffee, enough and all delicious. I would like to express my special gratitude to all the staff, communication with whom has always been very pleasant, with care for clients, it has always raised the mood and created a feeling of home environment. Since the power supply goes out when you leave your room, it was cold in January when you returned from your walks, air conditioning system with adjustable temperature warms up your room after a while. Bathroom towel dryers are only switched on in the morning and evening. cost of the hotel is generally higher than other accommodation options, this is understandable - its location and good service. Comparatively close to the very large supermarket Conad near Piazza Gaetano Salvemini, as well as being in Florence, I always have lunch at the self-service cafe (only open during the day) on Via dei Lamberti, opposite the temple of Orsanmikele, has very democratic prices for this city.

Close proximity to Duomo enhances roaming ease.
The air conditioning was excessively noisy and ineffective. It seemed impossible to find a comfortable temperature, leading to a restless night. The shower door in my room was problematic, awkwardly slipping off its track and causing great concern for safety during use.

The location near the Duomo is great. Room was adequate.
Staff was not friendly. Very rigid about their 2 hour breakfast period. Would have been nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee/tea during the day or had something in the room.

The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the Duomo. The staff were friendly and offered great information. While the lift is small, the room was decent and clean, but noise from the street could be an issue for light sleepers.

Actually I was surprised of the professionalism of the hotel staff. They called me a day before the arriving and ask me if is ok to stay in other hotel 'Di Lanzi Hotel' in the same commercial conditions because they have some technical problems. The architecture of the Di Lanzi Hotel is great and is situated in the heart of old city. From my window I had a great view on the dom and on the entrance of hotel the best grom ice cream shop.

Both lovable and frustrating
The charming location lets you explore the city easily! The spacious, bright bathroom and comfortable bed.
Noise from the streets and unreliable air conditioning were a significant downside! The breakfast selection felt too basic, lacking options for varied tastes.

The hotel is located in the heart of Florence, 100 meters from the main cathedral. It occupies the upper 3 and 4 floors of the building. The elevator is small, designed for a maximum of 3 people. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The room was small, but not tiny. The furniture is quite good, in good condition. There is a small fridge. The room is heated by air conditioning with a heating mode. Breakfast is coffee, bread, butter, cheese, sausage and cakes. From hot - toast, which you will cook yourself. Good signal and speed of Wi-Fi.the hotel management is aware of all the shortcomings, so the price for accommodation is not high. If you come to Florence as a tourist, be sure to appreciate it. The hotel has only slept overnight, as it has been walking around Florence all day. It's a beautiful city! There are so many sights to see.
The room we lived in is clean, but in need of cosmetic repairs. We had to turn off the air conditioner at night, because it squeaks and makes noise from old age. The refrigerator is old and already does not do its job well. No dishes, no glasses, no glasses. No kettle. But you'll always get tea or coffee at any time of day. All you have to do is call reception.

The hotel is located literally a stone's throw from the Duomo in Florence. The hotel is wonderful, clean, well operated and as centrally located as one could hope for. They offer a nice breakfast. Windows from the hotel sitting room literally open to a direct view of the Duomo. Parking is available, if you telelphone in advance and arrange to have someone take your car and move it to an off-site parking location. The area is very safe and easy walking distance to almost all historic sites and many restaurants and lots of shops.
The hotel is located on a street that is about 20 feet long, and local residents don't even know the name of it. It is literally an alley off a main street leading to the Duomo. The entrance is dishearteningly nondescript, but you take an elevator to the third floor and enter the hotel proper, which is wonderful. This is an exceptional value for the dollar. Each morning you awaken to hear the bells of the Duomo.
